Why do people (particularly top contributers) get so wound up when yahoo rules are slightly bent?

Like a dude said he was looking out his window (that was all he said there was no question) and got plenty of good spirited responses except one, from a top contributor, who quoted text from the yahoo community guidlines and said that he HAD to ask a queston. In another question in which a guy asked where he could download free mp3's the first response (from yet another top contributor) was that his question was in the wrong section and could he please move it?!! There are so many other example on yahoo answers! I understand why there are rules obviously its for our safety as well as for yahoo's legal obligations, but why become fussy over small, non-offensive and barely significant events? why do these top contributors get so tightly wound?? They're human just like the rest of us no less and definitely no more! (Btw this doesnt apply to one top contributor who's name i forget and has been suspended that many times that she's practically a legend lol!!)..

Yes some of them are self appointed forum monitors- They think their contributor status gives them some sort of authority. It's so funny. I had one write me a very stern email explaining in detail why the best answer I had chosen was the wrong choice LMAO! I think they should all get their points reset at a certain point before it goes to their heads ;)
